As of 2014, all Real Estate Negotiators (RENs) must be certified by the Board of Valuers, Appraisers, Estate Agents & Property Managers (BOVEAP) to legally conduct real estate transactions and they will be issued with a Real Estate Negotiator Certification Tag.
To be certified, individuals are required to attend a 2-day Negotiator Certification Course conducted only by approved training centres nationwide.
