Ms Elizabeth Cardosa

Elizabeth Cardosa is a well-known advocate for the preservation of cultural heritage, being actively involved for over two decades in raising heritage awareness in both print and broadcast media channels. She actively engages in research and documentation of both tangible and intangible heritage, has worked on several masterplans, conservation management plans and impact assessments, designs heritage site interpretation materials and provides specialist heritage guides training for cultural tourism sites throughout Malaysia.Her technical involvement in building restoration includes Stadium Merdeka in Kuala Lumpur, winner of the 2010 Award of Excellence for the UNESCO Asia Pacific Heritage Awards for Cultural Heritage Conservation, and most recently the 2019 PAM Gold Medal award for the conservation of Masjid DiRaja Sultan Sulaiman in Klang.

Registered Conservator with Jabatan Warisan Negara (National Heritage Department, Malaysia) since 2015.
