Sr Dr Ainoriza Mohd Aini, University of Malaya
DR SR AINORIZA is currently the Head of Department of Real Estate at the Faculty of Built Environment, Universiti Malaya. She has a master degree in Corporate Real Estate Finance from City University London and completed her PhD in the area of sustainability and responsible property investment at Kingston University of London. Trained as a valuer, Dr Ainoriza moved into academia in 2004 where she taught both undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. Dr Ainoriza has led and completed numerous real estate research including housing needs for the elderly, Housing-Income Index©, housing affordability, and multigenerational housing. Her current research focus is on housing pathways for vulnerable groups and residential tenancy. Outside of academia, she has acted as a consultant for private developers and government agencies. Most recently, she was appointed as the Expert Panel for the Institute of Youth Research (IYRES), Board of Trustee of Aubrey Barker Fund (UK) and Executive Board Member for the Asean Valuers Association (AVA) Malaysia.
